Starbucks Introduces Indulgent New Icy Beverages: Tropical Banana Cream Frappuccino® and Decadent Banana Caramel Frappuccino®
Auckland, March 3rd - Just like summer, a cool and delicious beverage is something that should be savoured. As the end of summer draws near, (while it might be difficult to sip these delicious new beverages slowly), Starbucks invites Kiwi’s to discover two new, deliciously refreshing Frappuccino® beverages: Banana Cream Frappuccino® and Banana Caramel Frappuccino®.
“For many customers, Starbucks is a perfect place to escape the summertime heat, so we’re introducing new beverages that are sure to become customer favourites this summer,” said Steve Montgomery, general manager for Starbucks New Zealand. “The tropical taste of Banana Cream Frappuccino® Blended Cream and the decadent flavour of Banana Caramel Frappuccino® Blended Coffee make a warm summer’s day that much more delightful.”
Banana Cream Frappuccino® Blended Cream is a tropical, soda fountain-inspired treat that blends fresh banana pureé with creamy milk and ice and is topped with whipped cream and bruleé sprinkles. The decadent Banana Caramel Frappuccino® Blended Coffee features fresh banana pureé blended with coffee, milk and ice and topped with whipped cream, bruleé sprinkles and caramel drizzle. The handcrafted coffee based version is available in original or light (a customised version with fewer calories and less fat).
A cool blend of Starbucks coffee, milk and ice, Frappuccino® Blended Beverage is a handcrafted beverage introduced in 1995. The original Frappuccino® flavours - coffee and mocha - have been joined over the years by Espresso Frappuccino®, Caramel Frappuccino®, and Java Chip Frappuccino® and now for a limited time, Banana Caramel Frappuccino® Blended Coffee and Banana Cream Frappuccino® Blended Cream.
