Continental High Performance Tyres New NZ Distributor Appointed
German tyre manufacturer Continental have appointed Tyres4U as exclusive distributors of their tyre range which includes their highly awarded high performance tyres.
In announcing the appointment, General Manager Oceania for Continental Mr Tim Sanders said “We are very pleased that Tyres4U has accepted our proposal to distribute the Conti and Barum range of tyres in New Zealand. We have a long relationship with the group and with Tyres4U NZ now distributing our passenger range it lines up perfectly with the Tyres4U Australian operation and the products they have been selling for over 30 years.”
Tyres4U NZ is arguably New Zealand’s most proactive and supportive wholesaler to the tyre industry. With the addition of Continental and Barum to the range of other products sold, it will provide a full stable of products to service the Tyres4U dealer network across the country.
General Manager of Tyres4U New Zealand Mr Perry Scarfe commented “The Tyres4U philosophy has been to grow our business through supporting our dealers. By helping them grow their business, we too have been able to grow ours. We have an intent that we want to be “the easiest organisation to do business with” and all our staff work with this foremost in their mind. Adding Continental Passenger and Light Truck tyres to our range backs up our commitment to be the easiest organisation by consolidating ourselves as a one stop shop for the dealer to buy their tyres.”
Continental tyres are OE fitment on many marquee brands including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, Renault, Volvo, Jaguar and Landrover along with many other European vehicle brands.
Barum Tyres manufactured by Continental are more economically priced European style family tyres.
