New Corporate Secretary

Auckland International Airport Limited has appointed Charles Spillane as its new Corporate Secretary, replacing Chris Curley on his retirement. As Corporate Secretary, Charles will report to the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer, Don Huse.
Charles, 38, has been with the company for three and a half years in his role as General Counsel and retains that role. Prior to joining the company, Charles spent seven years as a commercial and securities lawyer at Russell McVeagh in Auckland.
Charles has an arts degree and honours degree in law from the University of Auckland.
Announcing the appointment, Chief Executive Officer, Don Huse said, “We are delighted to have Charles expand his role within the company into the corporate secretarial area. Charles’ legal experience, focus on corporate governance and in depth knowledge of the Company’s business ensures that the Board and shareholders are well served. His appointment also continues the enhancement of the senior management team at AIAL.”
Mr Spillane said that he was looking forward to working closely with the Board of Directors and senior management team at Auckland International Airport Limited in the continued growth and development of the company’s business.
