Breaking News Now Live in the Air with Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines customers can now stay in touch with events on the ground, even while travelling at 35,000 feet.
Singapore Airlines is pleased to introduce Live Text News from December 2005. Available in all classes on all 19 flights out of New Zealand, this latest product can be accessed free on KrisWorld, the Airline’s world-renowned inflight entertainment system.
The content provided covers several categories including world news, business, technology, sports, entertainment and weather; and is obtained from an extensive list of news sources, including Associated Press, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones.
Singapore Airlines customers can also look forward to an even wider selection of games on KrisWorld this month. Already the most extensive menu of games to be offered by a commercial airline, this expansion will bring the number of games available to 91.
New games introduced include Super Breakout®, Super Pinball Arcade®, Robot Factory® and Solitrio®, ensuring that all customers will have a variety of arcade, board, puzzle, leisure and sports games to keep themselves entertained while flying with Singapore Airlines.
In addition to Live Text News and 91 of the latest video games, Singapore Airlines’ customers can also select from over 500 entertainment and information options available on the Airline’s renowned inflight entertainment system, KrisWorld. These include 60 movies, up to 100 TV programmes, and 220 music CD albums and audio books. On selected flights, customers can also choose to access wireless inflight broadband internet.
