Mai Chen said on behalf of the 24 staff members of the Firm that “we are absolutely delighted for Geoffrey.” “We know he will make a wonderful contribution, and we can think of no one more qualified for the job.”
“Geoffrey has had many careers in his lifetime, as a Law Professor, as a former Prime Minister, and as a practitioner specialising in Pubic Law, but they have all focussed on his interest in law reform. He will make a significant contribution at the Law Commission as he has done in all of his other careers.”
