Super Air Incident
Super Air Limited regrets to announce that a Fletcher aerial top dressing aircraft flying between Kaikohe and Whangarei went missing late yesterday afternoon.
The aircraft was returning to Whangarei after performing aerial top dressing operations south east of Kaikohe. The last contact with the aircraft was at 11.30am Tuesday.
Two employees of Super Air are aboard the aircraft.
Super Air is working closely with the emergency services and other agencies.
Our immediate focus is on finding the two employees and supporting the families, relatives and their close associates.
Super Air will release additional information as it comes to hand.
Note: Super Air Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of fertiliser co-operative, Ballance Agri-Nutrients Limited.
Super Air has a fleet of 17 aircraft, which operate throughout the top half of the North Island.
