Double Fellowship for DTZ's Ken Taylor
DTZ's Alexandra Manager, Ken Taylor, has landed the double accolade of being awarded a Fellowship of both the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and the New Zealand Property Institute.
Mr. Taylor has been involved in high country and pastoral farm valuation in central Otago for 30 years. His Fellowship Citation notes that 'he is held in high regard by rural valuation practitioners and rural managers throughout the South Island, for his expertise and integrity.
"The award of a fellowship is not simply a matter of years in the business," says DTZ CEO Ross Pickett. "Becoming a Fellow is not automatic but rather reflects personal recognition and respect by one's peers for the nominee's services to the industry."
Asked if he was surprised by the award Mr. Taylor says he was but pleasantly so. "I have lived and worked in a quiet, rural part of the country for some 20 years and so it was very pleasing and encouraging to receive this recognition by my peers."
He has managed DTZ's property activity in Central Otago since 2002. Before that he was with Knight Frank NZ for seven years and prior to that with Landcorp Property Limited, Alexandra.
