“The death of a loved one is tremendously difficult to cope with at the best of times, let alone dealing with tidying up

It is a fact that many people are simply just not prepared for the one event we can all guarantee we will share at some
point in time – our ultimate demise. Not being prepared for this can cause our loved ones additional stress at this
already emotional time. While having an up to date Will is vital, much more can be done to ease this stress on those you
leave behind.
Professionals can have a difficult job administering someone’s estate when all they have to get started is the
information families bring to them. More often than not this is not the complete picture, which creates uncertainty and
delay.
At SIG we felt there was a gap in the market for reducing this stress for loved ones in the event of someone’s death. We
also recognised that providing a single point to securely store financial records, personal information and even
video/photo images for loved ones is hugely important for people who want to provide the ultimate legacy for their
family and friends. By adding personal elements to a legal framework, we assist in creating a living will.
Clients now have the ability to access, update and replace vital personal information from anywhere anytime. This
includes creating video, photo and text libraries of specific messages only for release at your time of death. What
better way to show you care than to leave a virtual message to family and friends telling them all those things you
never quite got around to saying.
Clients can elect to provide as little or as much information as they feel would be necessary to make life just that
little less stressful if something unexpectedly was to happen to them. Some clients simply take advantage of the message
service whilst others provide an overview of their personal financial affairs including specific funeral arrangements,
details of magazine subscriptions and notes on business arrangements that friends and family don’t know; but will need
to know in managing their estate.
At the time of the persons death, all records are compiled into a single estate management document and distributed to
the professional advisor such as Lawyer, Accountant, Professional Financial Advisor or nominated Trustee.
