Kapiti to revert to chilled distribution
Kapiti Fine Foods has today advised customers it will be reverting to its previous system of chilled distribution for all of its cheese products nationally.
Earlier this month KFF adopted a new courier-based distribution system utilising a specially designed insulation bag.
This means that all Kapiti cheese orders dispatched from this evening for delivery after the long weekend will use the company’s traditional chilled network.
KFF CEO Greg Shearer says the new system, based on courier deliveries has not met all of the company’s expectations in terms of delivery times, and the decision has been made to change back to the previous chilled distribution process.
“This decision has been made in the interests of ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service from Kapiti. We are apologizing to customers for any disruption caused by our change and decision to revert back to the former system.”
