BP Ultimate is the proud naming sponsor of the 2005 BP Ultimate Big Boys Toys motor show, running in Auckland from
November 11 – 13.
Big Boys Toys is New Zealand’s premier annual motorshow, displaying the cutting edge of international vehicles and
motoring technology. Last year more than 52,000 New Zealanders visited the show.
BP Ultimate Spokesperson, Sally Inkster, said the link between the quality of vehicles on display and BP’s 98 octane
premium Ultimate fuel made the event a perfect fit.

year we have had a fantastic response from the motoring public – especially motoring enthusiasts and those who want to

Ms Inkster said BP would be using the event to highlight the latest findings from fuel trials comparing BP Ultimate to
other premium fuels.
“The recent fuel trial programme carried out by BP has been the biggest New Zealand-based fuel trial in around 30 years
and we think motoring enthusiasts will be really interested in the latest results.”
Ms Inkster said the new test data would demonstrate the significant engine cleaning properties of BP Ultimate, and the
performance benefits of the 98 octane fuel.

cleaning additive of most regular fuels, BP Ultimate can help clean up existing engine deposits and helps keep a clean

Ms Inkster said many people were surprised at how quickly deposits could form on critical engine components through the
use of regular fuels that have no cleaning additive.
She said in an environment of higher fuel prices it was important to continue to demonstrate the advantages of BP
