New Five-Star Fijian Resort Opens Soon
Action and relaxation at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa
Fiji’s newest luxury five-start resort, the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, is set to open its doors on December 10.
Located beachside on exclusive Denarau Island, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa will offer a stunning leisure, corporate and conference and incentive destination just 20 minutes from the Nadi International Airport.
“Designed to essentially be a fully integrated tourist destination all of its own, the new luxury resort will boast all the key five-star elements and facilities we’ve come to expect of the Sofitel brand,” says Kerrie Hannaford, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, director of sales and marketing. “Whether for a relaxing holiday, conference venue or wedding setting the resort offers it all.”
Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa will cater to the conference and honeymoon markets, offering a private beachside wedding chapel and 740 guest capacity to become the most extensive conferencing facility in the South Pacific region.
All 296 guest rooms at the resort offer stunning ocean views, with a choice of Presidential and Executive Suites also available
Facilities at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa include three restaurants, guided by French trained executive chef Jean-Marc Perrignon, and three bars that present an exciting range of dining and entertainment experiences. The resort also boasts the Pacific region’s largest lagoon style free-form pool, which features a unique diving pool and separate children’s swimming section highlighted with two-story water-slide. Additional resort facilities include a tranquil day spa, exclusive white-sand beach, a variety of retail outlets pus a children’s club incorporating local pastimes such as Fijian art and music. Resort guests also have access to the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club with its 18-hole golf course and 10 tennis courts.
Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa has teamed up with sport and action specialist, Adrenalin Fiji, to offer a comprehensive choice of fitness and leisure activities, including skydiving, helicopter tours, jetskiing, sailing, beach volleyball, sea kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving courses.
