Intel Appoints Synnex As New Zealand Distributor
Intel has appointed SYNNEX New Zealand Ltd. as a national distributor for its Intel Architecture desktop and mobile
microprocessor and motherboard products.
Effective immediately, the agreement is designed to offer greater choice for Intel’s New Zealand resellers and aims to
capitalise on SYNNEX’s strong track record of providing specialist support for local system builders around the world.
This agreement sees Intel return to a dual-distributor model in New Zealand with SYNNEX joining existing distributor
Ingram Micro.
“We are pleased to introduce SYNNEX to our New Zealand channel and to provide resellers with additional choice in where
they purchase their Intel components,” said Andrew McLean, area sales manager, Intel Australia and New Zealand.
“SYNNEX has worked successfully with Intel around the world over many years and we are delighted to extend this
relationship to New Zealand. SYNNEX will now be able to provide Genuine Intel® Dealers and local PC assemblers with the
same premium supply chain management service Australian businesses currently receive. As a significant driving force in
