Attractive Stay Packages For Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens
New Zealand rugby sevens enthusiasts have a special three-night package
offer from Emirates Airline this year for the first round of the new world
sevens series, to be held in Dubai at the end of November.
To be staged from November 30 to December 2, the event is set to break all
previous attendance records with more than 140 teams and 1,750 players
expected as part of what has become one of the most unique carnival
atmospheres to be found at any sporting occasion. The focus will again be
on reigning champions New Zealand.
Emirates' New Zealand manager Chris Lethbridge said: "Dubai is one of the
top venues for sevens rugby. The weather is great, the organisation is
excellent and Dubai itself is such a dynamic and interesting place."
The international invitational, Gulf, local social, ladies, veterans and
youth competitions run alongside the Emirates-sponsored IRB series
tournament and make for an action-packed three-day event.
Thousands of visitors from the region and beyond are expected to make this
a truly colourful occasion and a traditional Arabian welcome awaits fans
from across the world.
The packages, priced from the equivalent of US$80 for a basic three-night
stay, provide a choice of fantastic city hotels ranging from two- to
five-star properties. The packages include:
- Personalised meet-and-assist welcome on arrival at Dubai International
Airport
- Arabian Adventures welcome pack
- Transportation by private car on arrival and departure between Dubai
International Airport and the hotel
- Three-day season ticket for matches
- Three nights' accommodation in Dubai, including buffet breakfast
- All accommodation-related taxes and service charges
Visitors can also purchase additional nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
For travel from New Zealand prior to November 30, the Dubai return economy
fare on Emirates is $1,777. Emirates operates four return services a day to
Dubai from New Zealand.
