TVNZ takes top NZ honours in Australasian Marketing Awards
TVNZ has won two golds and two silver awards in this year’s Australasian Promax & BDA marketing, promotion and design awards.
The Promax awards are a highly competitive arena entered by all major networks in Australia and New Zealand, and digital and cable networks from around the world.
TVNZ won gold for Best Entertainment Promo with its in-house production of the whimsical promo for Antiques Roadshow on TV ONE.
In collaboration with Saatchi and Saatchi, it also won gold for the Best Poster/Outdoor Advertisement with TV2’s NZ Idol mirror.
A silver award went to TV2’s ‘Together’ campaign, also created in collaboration with Saatchi and Saatchi, in the Best Television Image category. The entry featured TV2 Idents, the Special K sponsorship, and a Drama ident.
A second silver for Best 3D animation went to TV ONE’s ‘Zone’, created by Ink Project.
TVNZ General Manager of Marketing, Sue Brewster, says the awards are a gratifying recognition of the talented people behind the screen who are working to attract viewers to the range of quality programming on offer on TVNZ.
“TVNZ’s four awards are a clear reflection of the professionalism and creativity we have available to us,” she says.
