Personalised Stamps goes live
Wellington web solutions company 3months.com and the New Zealand Post Online Channel team have recently created a unique web application that allows the public to personalise New Zealand Post’s latest stamps series, by adding their own digital image to a special tab attached to each stamp. From any browser users can select from a set of templates then upload, cut, crop and position their favorite picture then purchase the custom stamps.
3months director Mark Pascall said “very few countries have successfully implemented this type of application. It has been made possible by using the latest generation Flash and .NET technology. We employed an agile software development approach that ensured that we worked very closely with the New Zealand Post team and could accommodate evolving requirements. The project was completed within a two month timeframe.
3months is one of Wellingtons latest success stories, having doubled in size over the last year. 3months specialises in leading edge, standards based web development using the latest generation Microsoft, Macromedia and Open source technologies
3months has won a number of high profile projects over the last few months including:
- the expat site recently announced by Helen Clark (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=1=10341213).
- Internet New Zealand site redevelopment
