SeaLink Takes to the Water With a Splash
Subritzky SeaLink has been renamed and rebranded to the more contemporary SeaLink at the same time as it announces a series of changes and offerings that will elevate its status on the Hauraki Gulf.
The new look has been timed with the announcement that the business will be moving from a transport ferry operator to a full tourism operator with the introduction of holiday packages under a sub brand - SeaLink Holidays.
A new brochure has been released offering travel packages incorporating a hand picked selection of reputable operators on Waiheke and Great Barrier Island. Offering travellers a whole island experience, the brochure provides a convenient way to book self-drive short breaks and holidays at the two popular destinations.
Michael Moore, CEO & Director for SeaLink comments, "The new branding looks modern and fresh and combined with the SeaLink Holidays brochure, offers the company a new direction on the Hauraki Gulf. It is one thing offering transport, but to now be able to provide our customers with a total travel package takes us to a new level in the tourism industry."
Moore continues, "We will be undertaking extensive radio and press advertising to generate tourism for both islands through our new service and have a sales centre operating seven days a week. We have also appointed an Onboard Service Manager to focus on customer service and product delivery. As a company we see this announcement as a reflection of our dedication to moving forward and developing the business into new areas."
The change of ownership has not only contributed to a new direction for the business but a renewed focus and drive to grow the tourism market for both Waiheke and Great Barrier.
Moore says, "Frequent travelers to both destinations understand the convenience of having their car with them and the ease of taking it with SeaLink. The aim is to send this message further afield and encourage people to turn to SeaLink for a convenient holiday solution."
