Quest Takes Over Atrium Towers - Wellington
The Quest Serviced Apartment Group has taken over Atrium Towers Serviced Apartments located on The Terrace in
Wellington.
Atrium Towers, developed two years ago by Boulcott Investments Group Limited, is a Quality 4 star serviced apartment
operation that as of 1st October will be part of the Quest Group.
The Atrium, which will be renamed "Quest Atrium", has 70 studio, one, two, and three bedroom apartments. These are
complemented by a superb gym and heated indoor pool complex. The rooms, which radiate out from a peaceful atrium lobby,
have unlimited broadband internet access, TV/stereo, and the most up-to-date kitchen and laundry facilities.
Quest Atrium is part of the CBD, but within walking distance of Victoria University, Te Papa, and the waterfront. It is
only a lift ride away from the boutique shopping area on Lambton Quay.
Stephen Mansfield, Managing Director of the Quest Group in New Zealand, confirms that this acquisition will bring the
total of Quest Serviced Apartment Franchises in New Zealand up to 18. These are located in Auckland, Taupo, Wellington,
Christchurch, and Invercargill. Further Quest franchises are planned for Dunedin, Tauranga, Palmerston North and
Queenstown.
Mr Andrew Porter, franchise owner of Quest on The Terrace, has now acquired the Quest Franchise rights for the Atrium
operation, and confirms that by having the two Quest operations on The Terrace he is able to offer both 3 and 4 star
value-for-money serviced apartments to corporate, government, and leisure travellers. This new addition makes Quest the
dominant accommodation provider on The Terrace, which is locally acknowledged as a strategic location within Wellington.
Quest has just this week opened up Quest Suva, and Quest Invercargill is due to open in December 2005.
