Cadmus Secures More Australian Sales
AUCKLAND, 24 August, 2005 - Advanced payment solutions company, Cadmus Technology Limited (NZX: CTL), said today that it has secured additional sales for its EFTPOS products from some of its biggest Australian retail customers.
Cadmus has previously supplied Bill Express Ltd (ASX: BXP) and the Bendigo Bank with its AC4500G terminals and CPO3/ PM03 products respectively. Cadmus has subsequently extended its product range, which now includes the AC8000G advanced graphics terminal and the CM05 one piece GPRS terminal.
The company recently announced additional sales to Dialtime, one of Australia's largest distributors of electronic, e-commerce based solutions with over 235 products. Dialtime are now taking delivery of the new Cadmus AC8000G units which will augment the current Cadmus AC4500G product used extensively throughout Australia. Likewise, Bendigo Bank have also confirmed an order for another 500 CM05 terminals, and a further 1,000 CPO3/PM03 units.
Patrick McCammon, Cadmus Director of New Business, says the new orders confirm that the Cadmus products are the ideal payment solutions for the Australian market. Total revenues from these orders are in excess of $3.5M for delivery within this financial year.
"Cadmus is delighted with the new orders and expects the ongoing relationship will see further orders in future. We are confident that our innovative products will continue to gain in their reputation as reliable, easy to use and secure advanced payment solutions for the Australian market," says McCammon.
"Building our share of the Australian payment solutions market and providing a bespoke product range with the latest technology along with our flexible approach is a key priority for Cadmus. The AC8000 touch screen terminals, for example, represent the very latest in payment solutions technology, are also EMV/3DES compliant, as well as including broadband, and TCP/IP interface."
"We see significant opportunities for growth in Australia both from the implementation of new EMV (Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa) and 3DES compliant terminals throughout the retail market." "The electronic payments industry is both very complex and changing rapidly, so only those companies like Cadmus that design develop and manufacture products, will be in a position to provide Australian retailers with world-class, future-proof solutions."
