Fast 50 Stars At Annual Summit
The Canterbury Software Cluster has lined up companies with average annual growth in 2004 of 515% to tell their stories
of business success.
22 August 2005. - Growth is the theme of the 2005 Canterbury Software Summit, presented by the Canterbury Software
Cluster, a grouping of 90 local companies involved in the software industry.
Summit headliners Endace, Hyperfactory, NZ Tourism Online, InFact, Black Coffee Software and Silicon Coach averaged 515%
annual revenue growth for 2004, placing them on the Deloitte/Unlimited Fast 50 index of New Zealand's fastest growing
companies.
Also speaking is John O'Hara who has established and grown through to successful exits four New Zealand-based technology
companies. He has also completed over a dozen off-shore licensing agreements with major American and English companies.
"Software is one of the most dynamic sectors of the local economy, so this Summit is about sharing stories of success
and working out ways we can help each other to identify and exploit new markets," says Cluster Chairman Owen Scott.
The Summit is being held on Thursday 15 September, 12:30pm - 5:30pm, Rydges Hotel (Oxford Tce, Christchurch).
