New Zealand Sugar Company Strike
Hope you don’t take Sugar!
Members of the National Distribution Union employed by the NZ Sugar Company, Chelsea Refinery, commenced an indefinite strike at 9.30am Thursday 18 August 2005. The strike is the result of a breakdown in negotiations for the renewal of the collective employment agreement.
