Telecom Slashes Prices On International Calling This Weekend
Telecom is having a World Wide Price Crash this weekend with residential per minute calling rates slashed to 55 countries.
And as part of the special, one lucky customer will get to visit the destination of their choice.
Customers who register online at www.worldwidepricecrash.co.nz before midnight Sunday 21 August go into the draw to win a $5000 Air New Zealand travel voucher.
The special includes popular calling destinations such as Australia, UK and the United States – as well as some countries that don’t often feature in calling specials, including destinations in Asia, the Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Most of the countries that are included in the special are still under wraps, but Telecom has named China and India among the 55.
The calling special will run from 6pm Friday 19 August 2005 until midnight Sunday 21 August 2005, and applies to direct dial and 059 calls from Telecom home phones. It excludes 0161 and calls to mobiles.
Customers who want to find out more about the specials should visit www.worldwidepricecrash.co.nz, call 0800 529999 or text 888 from an 027 mobile with the name of the country they want to find out the special price for after 6pm on Friday. Terms and conditions for the prize draw are available at www.worldwidepricecrash.co.nz.
