The Hyperfactory appoints General Manager for New Zealand office
Asia Pacific’s leading mobile marketing specialists, The Hyperfactory, has appointed Darnell Dixon as its New Zealand
general manager. Darnell, who has been with The Hyperfactory since 2003, previously held the position of business
development manager. She joined The Hyperfactory from previous roles with Trantex Agencies and Clear Communications (now
TelstraClear).
Derek Handley, managing director of The Hyperfactory, explains, “The past year has seen phenomenal growth for The
Hyperfactory. We are firmly established in the Asian market with a regional sales team based in Hong Kong, a development
team in India and an ever growing list of clients and partners. The time was right to appoint a general manager in New
Zealand to ensure that our success here continues. Darnell has absolutely been integral to our achievements in the New
Zealand market and so was the obvious choice for the position”.
Darnell adds, “The Hyperfactory is pioneering mobile marketing in the Asia Pacific region and it has been a privilege to
have been working with the company as we develop more and more innovative campaigns and programmes. I am delighted to be
taking on the role of general manager and am looking forward to building the team here in New Zealand and breaking more
new ground”.
