Newly-launched analytics company claims that basic web statistics in New Zealand should be public and free
Auckland, August 2, 2005:
Traceics (http://www.traceics.co.nz), the newest audience measurement and tracking service for Kiwi sites has officially launched the free version of its service. The free, advertising-based Traceics has an innovative feature: a public ranking directory, designed to improve transparency of public data in advertising-based sites, and to give free industry and competitive reports to online businesses.
The advanced version of Traceics, a full-featured web analytics service, private and paid, will be available to Kiwi webmasters and online marketers in the following months.
Traceics.co.nz aims to be the primary destination for audience, online business and kiwi site-related information, presented dynamically and in real-time across all categories or industries of New Zealand sites. The registration is free for all website owners and the basic Traceics service is public and free for everybody. The public ranking directory is updated hourly but the detailed site-based data is gathered and reported in real-time.
"We are offering for free industry and competitive intelligence that other companies charge big bucks for, and with this we hope to attract the biggest and most loyal audience of marketers, webmasters, journalists and other internet-involved specialists, and this will bring us advertising revenue. We will complete our offer with an advanced analytics tool, which will offer private statistics and analysis features, and will be reasonably priced.", says Traceics CEO, Bogdan Secara.
Traceics features include unique visitors, impressions, sources of entering the website (bookmarks/search/website referrers), search engine keywords used to reach the website, demographical data and information about the user's software system. The transparency of all this basic data is key to a new era in online businesses and marketing, where public and non-sensitive data is freely available, thus enabling every website, no matter how small, to become better.
Traceics has been recently launched in New Zealand, Spain, Serbia and Canada, and will be rolled out in several other countries in the following months.Traceics was developed as a pilot project in Romania, where it is now the official standard for audience measurement, monitoring more than 15.000 active Romanian and Romania-originated sites, and accumulating more than 130 million pageviews per week.
Feel free to check out our service at www.traceics.co.nz and ask us for details regarding Traceics and web analytics,
