Finda.co.nz provides businesses with the best search solution
Demand is growing rapidly for the latest free national online business directory, Finda.co.nz, and its unique advanced features have finally changed the landscape of New Zealand's online business search services.
The brainchild of Auckland entrepreneur Shane Bradley, through his directory Finda.co.nz he is offering New Zealand businesses free listings and enhanced features not available on competitor directories, such as an integrated mapping system to pinpoint exactly where businesses are located.
"We've changed the landscape of online business directories in New Zealand by launching an alternative to Telecom's Yellow Pages and UBD that uses up to date and more cost-effective features than competitors," says Mr Bradley.
Since our launch, monthly unique users have grown by over 1,000% and after the new business directory went live three weeks ago, we have had more than 3000 businesses come on board. We expect to have about 25,000 businesses signed up by the end of the year due to consumers growing reliance on the internet to search for business products and services."
Mr Bradley launched Finda.co.nz to fill a hole in the market.
"I looked at our online offerings and compared them with international online business directories and instantly recognised the need for more features.
"In addition to a business getting a free basic listing with us which includes email and web links, they pay hundreds of dollars less than others directories to get features such as opening hours, photos, display products, services, brands and the integrated mapping system."
Mr Bradley is predicting a quick uptake for Finda.co.nz from businesses around the country due to the fact that there is a growing reliance on the internet from many Kiwis searching for business products and services.
Terranet Product Manager, Julian Grainger, who has been a customer with Finda.co.nz since the site went live, says the company has been seeing regular hits coming through from Finda.co.nz on its webstats since it began advertising in September 2004.
"The results speak for themselves. We have seen consistent growth in the number of user sessions generated by Finda. At the current level of 300 click through's per month this is proving to be the best value advertising we do.
"The customer service we have experienced from Finda has been consistently high and the site is well targeted towards our user base in the Real Estate area. It has been particularly successful in reaching the private sales market. I'm looking forward to seeing this success continue as traffic continues to grow on Finda in the coming months," adds Mr Grainger.
Mr Bradley has high expectations for his site, including growing Finda.co.nz so it becomes New Zealand's favourite totally free classified site.
