Internet based Consumer Finance Application – While You Wait! Fully Automated, Instantaneous Response
Monday, 11 July 2005 – Until now, if you wanted to shop online and use finance, you had to provide all your details and wait until the finance company could approve your request. Now there’s a solution that means you can get an answer at any time – day or night, weekend or week-day.
The new system has been a joint development between Conduit and Five Star
Consumer Finance and is the first to be fully integrated in to the Baycorp system. It can be built-in to any website where a consumer finance option is required and provides total flexibility for shopping at any time.
“Our system is fully developed in New Zealand and provides a confirmed response to each application in about 30 seconds”, says Tony Webster of Conduit.
The first implementation of the system is now live at store.apple.co.nz, an online store of the Apple Division of Renaissance.
“Online finance offers customers payment flexibility, freeing up their credit card for other purchases. What we liked most about this offering was the ability for real-time finance approval,” says Paul Johnston, Managing Director of Renaissance.
