30,000 free ponchos to boost Eden Park black-out
All Blacks sponsor Telecom is giving away 30,000 black ponchos and black and white face paint to help fans secure the
home-ground advantage for the All Blacks at Eden Park on Saturday night. The ponchos should also be handy for fans given
that showers are forecast for Saturday.
Telecom produced almost a quarter-of-a-million black Unite for Victory ponchos and these have been distributed to fans
around the country during the DHL NZ Lions Series to help counter the red of the British and Irish Lions fans.
Fans attending the Test match can pick up their free ponchos and face paint from distribution points outside Eden Park
on Reimers Avenue, Cricket Avenue, Sandringham Road, and at the corner of Sandringham Road and Eden Park No.2. Staff
will also be roving around Eden Park distributing ponchos.
As well as sponsoring the All Blacks, Telecom is involved with each of New Zealand's Rebel Sports Super 12 franchises,
with Air New Zealand NPC teams, club rugby and the AXA International Sevens tournament in Wellington.
