FCm TRAVEL SOLUTIONS EXPANDS FOOTHOLD IN EUROPE AND ASIA PACIFIC
FCm Travel Solutions, the world’s newest corporate travel and expense management specialist, has launched its comprehensive European network and announced five new Asia Pacific network partners as an integral part of its global expansion strategy.
In London today, FCm Travel Solutions unveiled details of its network expansion, involving more than 20 top-ranking travel companies across Europe and the UK, the Middle East and Africa (known as EMEA).
To coincide with the EMEA launch, the first Asia-Pacific based global corporate travel manager also announced the introduction of new network partners from Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.
The expanded network cements FCm Travel Solutions’ presence in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, and adds to its existing operations in New Zealand, Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, South Africa, USA and Canada.
FCm Travel Solutions’ global executive general manager, Anthony Grigson, said the network strengthened the brand’s position as a serious player in the worldwide corporate travel market, with the ability to provide travel solutions in more than 50 countries worldwide.
“I think it is a great achievement that we are part of an Australasian-based travel company (Flight Centre Limited), and we are competing for multinational business against industry giants such as American Express, Business Travel International and Carlson Wagonlit,” he said.
“Our business is now in a rapid growth phase and the larger it becomes, the more powerful we will be in terms of worldwide market coverage, service capabilities and brand recognition.
“I am confident FCm Travel Solutions has the potential to be among the world’s top four corporate travel and expense management specialists within the next two years,” he said.
“We can achieve this by working with local industry leaders in each region, combining local market knowledge with our 24/7 global support network, and providing a flexible business model that creates tailored solutions for every client.
“In Asia Pacific, we have the added advantage of being based within the region. Asia Pacific is expected to be the world’s fastest growing business market over the next few years. It is a market that requires a travel management provider which understands the unique needs of local businesses, and can channel its energies into meeting local demand with highly customised services.”
Mr Grigson said the EMEA and Asia-Pacific partners were leading local travel companies who had built a powerful reputation in their respective markets.
“These people collectively offer hundreds of years’ experience in their local industry. We value their market knowledge and will utilise the specialist skills they provide,” he said.
“We have selected our partners based on synergies in culture, commitment to service excellence, and focus on achieving true efficiencies for clients.
“FCm Travel Solutions’ key point of difference in the global corporate travel industry is our people and culture.
“As part of Flight Centre Limited, we have a unique culture of performance recognition, continuous improvement, business ownership and accountability. This encourages our people to generate results for clients, here and around the world.
“As a result of our culture, our educated and impassioned people develop an intrinsic understanding of their clients’ corporate travel and commercial needs. They continuously monitor how their clients travel, identify efficiencies, and proactively create solutions that make travel less complex and more cost effective.
“Our EMEA and Asia-Pacific partners share these philosophies and values. They provide a universal commitment to unparalleled service, with the benefit of their local experience and market knowledge,” Mr Grigson said.
Throughout the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, FCm Travel Solutions now offers small, large and multinational companies a range of benefits including streamlined travel management, world-best fares of the day, unprecedented control of travel expenditure and policy compliance, and 24/7 emergency assistance worldwide.
