Ford Gears Up For Lions Test By Announcing Latest Components Of Exciting New Campaign
22 June 2005
Ford New Zealand is firing up for the first All Blacks test against the Lions by announcing three new components of the
exciting new 'This is our Territory' campaign.
The promotion kicked off almost a month ago when the 'billboard in a paddock' was revealed, and the new components
contain both visual elements as well as a distinctly musical beat.
The coverage of the test on TV3 on Saturday night coincides with the first official screening of Ford's new television
ad, which features a song by up and coming new Kiwi artist, Papa Pa.
The catchy tune has also been released as a single, and has received air play on radio stations around the country. All
profits from the single are being reinvested in grass roots rugby.
Ford dealers nationwide are also giving away 100,000 rugby supporters packs, which contain a windscreen banner sash
decal, All Blacks flag and Ford poster.
And while at the dealership collecting their supporters pack, rugby fans have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to
win the All Blacks Team Territory, or else claim one of ten adult/ child places on the All Blacks experience.
Territory is just one of the fleet of Ford vehicles helping get the ABs from A to B, while the All Blacks experience is
a once in a lifetime opportunity for adults and children to spend time with the All Blacks for two days in their
training camp environment.
The draw closes on Wednesday 6 July, and the winner of the Territory will be announced during the coverage of the third
and final All Black/ Lions test on TV3 on Saturday 9 July.
