Strong Launch Night For Prime
Last night’s launch of Prime’s new early evening weeknight line up delivered the network significant ratings gains.
The evening’s foundation was set by Prime’s First at 5:30 news bulletin which captured an average audience of 128,000. (All People 5+)
The debut of Holmes in the 6:00 pm timeslot captured an average audience of 50,000 (All People 5+), 127% up on the preceding four weeks audience at that time.
Prime’s two new game shows, Deal or No Deal and Temptation, the new Sale of the Century, rounded off the early evening with solid premiere performances.
The network’s Programming Manager, Andrew Shaw, said: ‘We are heartened and encouraged by last night’s results. Prime is committed to achieving growth over time against these timeslots’ historical audiences, and from this perspective we are delighted with the launch night’s figures.’
