New Chair for Industry Training Federation

New Chair for Industry Training Federation
John Meeuwsen was elected as Chair of the Industry Training Federation (ITF) at the ITF AGM yesterday.
John is the CEO of the Sports, Fitness and Recreation Industry Training Organisation (SFRITO). He succeeds Pieter Burghout CEO of the Building and Construction ITO who completed his two year term at the AGM.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of chairing the ITF Board as ITOs look forward to the challenge of building capacity and capability in industry to meet New Zealand’s economic goals”, said John Meeuwsen.

Formed in 1996, the Industry Training Federation (ITF) is a membership-based organisation representing all 41 Industry Training Organisations (ITOs). The ITF advocates on behalf of its member ITOs to government and works with agencies and sector groups to improve the policy for and delivery of Industry Training.
