Telecom Low Cost International Calling Now Available Anytime
Telecom is doing away with the concept of peak and off-peak international calling with its Anytime plans now offering direct dial calling rates to more than 200 destinations at Telecom’s traditional off peak rates 24/7.
Customers on Telecom’s Anytime plans will also enjoy the benefit of two-hour capped calling rates to Telecom’s most popular international calling destinations now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Plus, great savings on the existing capped rates to many of these destinations – including:
• South Africa - $12 for up to 2 hours any time (previously $20 for 2 hours off-peak calling). •
Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland and Italy - $5.75 for up to 2 hours any time (previously $10 for 2 hours off-peak calling). •
Korea - $7 for up to 2 hours any time (previously $18 for 2 hours off-peak calling).
Customers also have the choice of Anytime Plus offering even better per minute rates and capped calling rates for a slightly higher monthly subscription fee.
“For customers this means having the flexibility to call overseas friends and family when it suits them and not having to wait until 6pm for reduced international calling rates,” said Telecom Head of Consumer Marketing Victoria Crone, “When we released Anytime back in September 2004 we saw it as one of the biggest revolutions in calling prices for customers in years and now we’ve gone a step further and revolutionised international calling.”
Anytime has been a great success since its launch with over 300 000 Telecom customers enjoying greater freedom to make national and home to NZ mobile calls with 24/7 calling rates and the certainty of not paying anymore than $2.75 for a 2 hour call to any New Zealand landline.
“With the addition of international calling to Anytime even more Telecom customers will benefit and we’re keen to make sure our customers are aware of the new offer,” said Ms Crone.
Telecom is contacting all existing Anytime customers to make sure they know they will automatically receive the great new international calling rates.
Customers interested in joining Anytime should go online to www.telecom.co.nz/anytime or call 0800 100 100. If they think they will benefit from Anytime but are not sure they can go online to www.telecom.co.nz/anytime and check out the new Anytime rates to their favourite international calling destinations.
Anytime and Anytime Plus include a monthly subscription fee and are available now to Telecom home line and calling customers who have all their direct dial calling with Telecom. Anytime and Anytime Plus calling rates exclude 0161 calls, and both plans exclude Telecom Quick Call customers.
