First Time Win for High Achiever in Harcourts’ Northern Awards
One of Auckland’s hardest working figures in real estate was yesterday announced as the No. 1 Sales Consultant for
Harcourts’ Northern Region for the 2004-2005 financial year.
Matty Ma from Harcourts Glenfield has been a consistent high achiever for Harcourts, last year achieving No. 2 in the
Northern Region, and No. 5 in the National Awards.
Harcourts New Zealand CEO, Bryan Thomson said, “Matty Ma has a huge capacity for work and consistently conducts a
phenomenal volume of business. She is renowned for being totally committed and is an example of sheer hard work.”
Business Owner for Harcourts Glenfield, Martin Cooper noted that Ms Ma was highly intelligent and had been a very
committed team member since joining six years ago. “The very fact that she grew up in Northern China with English as a
second language makes this accomplishment even more extraordinary and shows what can be done with determination and
focus.”
The second and third top Sales Consultant awards went to Glenn Wells from Harcourts Massey and Simon Spiller from
Harcourts Kumeu, who also achieved Top Rural Sales Consultant for the region. Harcourts’ Northern Region covers from
Pukekohe north, including Auckland, with 52 offices and just on 600 sales consultants.
Harcourts is holding four regional awards ceremonies throughout the country over the next ten days building up to the
much anticipated National Awards in Auckland 25 May as part of Harcourts’ annual Conference.
Mr Thomson said, “With so many of our offices and team members having enjoyed an exceptional year and record
achievements, there’s a lot of anticipation as to who will come out top for Harcourts 2004-2005.”
