SEEK and XtraMSN Sign Long-term Content Distribution Deal
The leading employment website SEEK will continue as the exclusive provider of careers content to New Zealand’s largest
online audience through to 2007, following the announcement today of a major content distribution deal by SEEK and New
Zealand’s leading Internet portal, XtraMSN.
The extended agreement will see XtraMSN users continue to have access to SEEK’s job search service, together with online
training, certification tools and career development advice. With over 1.6 million unique New Zealand visitors to its
site every month, XtraMSN offers SEEK unmatched reach as well as integration with other XtraMSN content and tools.

On average, SEEK attracts over 172,000 individual New Zealand visitors to the site every month. Based on the February
2005 Nielsen//NetRatings, SEEK has 133 per cent more individual visitors to its site than its nearest competitor. On
average SEEK has over 10,000 NZ job vacancies listed at any one time, which is approximately twice as many job ad
opportunities as its nearest competitor.
SEEK now employs 200 people across Australia and New Zealand.
