“Destination Wellywood – The Roar Of Politics And Property!”
Theme Of New Zealand Property Institute Conference 2005.
The theme of the New Zealand Property Institute 2005 Conference is “Destination Wellywood – The Roar of Politics and Property”, New Zealand Property Institute CEO, Conor English, announced today.
The conference will be held at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington on Thursday 7 July and Friday 8 July.
“Property and politics are increasingly intertwined,” Mr English said.
“With our conference being in Wellington and it being election year we thought, for the first time we would invite some politicians!
“The conference will look at a wide number of issues including where the market is going and international issues, among others. We will provide more information as the programme comes together.
“Last year’s conference held in Queenstown, with over 550 property delegates attending, was a huge success. The programme boasted 37 speakers including 12 internationals, and over 675 guests attended the Southern Muster dinner.
“This year’s conference provides another great opportunity to get up to speed on various issues that effect property both locally and internationally, as well as a fantastic networking and social occasion.”
