New Chairman for Television Broadcasters’ Council
The new chairman of the NZ Television Broadcasters’ Council is Chris Taylor, the Chief Executive Officer of Prime Television New Zealand. He replaces Brent Impey, the CEO of CanWest TVWorks.
The Council’s rules provide for each member to hold the chair for two years and Mr Taylor has taken up the position on rotation.
The Television Broadcasters’ Council represents the non-competitive interests of the free TV industry and its members are Television New Zealand, CanWest TVWorks and Prime Television New Zealand.
