The Newspaper Ad of the Month competition is back. Starting in March, all newspaper ads booked through the NAB will be
eligible to win. Each month nominated ads will be judged by a leading creative director and a panel of industry peers.
They will be looking for ads that have an original idea, are relevant and clear, ads that work, and ads that use the
newspaper medium to its fullest potential. Advertisers, agencies and member newspapers are encouraged to nominate
newspaper ads. The winning ad will be announced each month in AdMedia’s “What’s New” section.
At the end of the year a “winner-of-winners” will be announced and will receive free space within newspapers - half
page winning announcement about the winning team, agency and client; and a half page space in which to run any material
you like (subject to meeting ASA requirements). To top it off, each monthly winner will receive automatic entry into the
2005/06 CAANZ Axis Awards and the winner-of-winners will be entered into the 2006 D Awards to compete against the rest of the world.
The NAB Newspaper Creativity Awards exemplify the NAB’s commitment to excellence in the craft of print advertising.
Innovative creative within newspapers is a powerful force that can deliver maximum reach faster than any other medium.
