Cheaper calls for Boost Mobile customers
The Boost Mobile Monsta Plan is a new and improved plan designed to make it cheaper for customers to call their ‘mates’ as well as txt them.
Following feedback from existing Monsta Txt customers, Boost Mobile is introducing calling as part of the new Boost Mobile Monsta Plan.
Customers on the new Boost Mobile Monsta Plan will be able to call their Boost mates (025/027) and landlines for just 49c per minute whenever they want. They will even be able to call mates in Australia for the same price. Plus calls to the UK, USA, Canada and Ireland anytime will cost only 49c a minute. All voice calls to other networks will be charged at $1.39 per minute.
Under the new Boost Mobile Monsta Plan customers will continue to pay no more than $10 per month to send up to 1000 text messages to 025 and 027 mobiles. Additional text messages will be charged at 2 cents per text message. All texts to 021/029 are 20 cents per text message.
“Boost Mobile is all about listening to the consumer and understanding the lifestyle environment that youth live in today. The Boost Mobile Monsta Plan recognises the increased use of text messaging by customers and gives them a voice component to further reinforce Boost Mobile’s commitment to hooking up their mates,” says Boost Mobile Marketing Director Kevin Bowler.
“This plan demonstrates that we’re very serious about continuing to provide by far the best value in mobile services in New Zealand,” Bowler says.
Monsta Txt will no longer be available to new customers however those customers currently on Monsta Txt can remain on the plan.
Monsta Txt customers that would like to move to the new Boost Mobile Monsta Plan can do it online at www.boostmobile.co.nz/monstaplan or by calling 0800 4 BOOST.
Customers who register online to change to Boost Mobile Monsta Plan before 28 February 2005 will receive a $5 credit.
