Gold medallists Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell are delighted to announce today they have signed a long term sponsorship agreement with Samsung for their range of Whiteware products.
The partnership is for four years, through to at least 2008 and after Beijing, though both parties are keen to extend it for a longer time frame. The world rowing champion twin sisters will promote the full range of Samsung Whiteware and in particular will give a strong push to Samsung’s Twin Cooling System™ side-by-side fridge freezers and Samsung’s new Front Loading washing machines.
Samsung* spokesperson Mark Livingstone says the new relationship comes at an important time for the Evers-Swindells and will greatly benefit both parties.
“The Evers-Swindell’s are world champions. They have achieved at the pinnacle of their sport through years of commitment, innovation and a determination to be the best. Samsung Whiteware has natural synergy with these values of healthy living, technological advancement and a dedication to producing world class products.
“We are looking forward to helping the twins achieve their sporting goals over the next few years while Samsung benefits from their profile in promoting our Twin Cooling System™ fridge freezers and new Front Loading washing machines.”
Caroline Evers-Swindell agrees.
“Our new deal with Samsung is awesome! It’s great that we can be associated with Samsung who are a first class global brand who we share the same values with. The Samsung partnership will make life easier and the financial support will assist us in focusing on our main goal of defending our world title in Japan later this year.”
Georgina adds:
“Samsung’s Twin Cooling System™ and Front Loading washing machines are fantastic products which we will love using. Our busy lifestyle means we need appliances that we can rely on. Training takes a lot out of us, so knowing our food will stay fresher for longer and that our numerous loads of dirty training gear is being washed using the very latest in energy efficiency, is great.”
Samsung Whiteware products are sold in over 100 stores across New Zealand. For more information on Samsung Whiteware visit www.radiola.co.nz/samsung or call freephone 0800 800 388.
