Hirepool Expansion Continues At Pace In 2005 With New Rotorua Facility
Equipment leader, Hirepool Limited has started 2005 as it finished 2004, with the opening of a new branch in Rotorua.
The Rotorua branch, which officially opens on February 3rd, is home to four highly experienced staff that together have more than 40 years involvement in the industry. It lifts the Hirepool network to 27 branches, with a further three branches in Tauranga, Napier and Whangarei all due to open within the next three months.
Hirepool Rotorua Manager Stan de Thierry says the central location of the site, on the corner of Biak and Waterford Streets, has been designed to attract both professionals and DIYers alike, who will be offered superior customer service, matching products and services to their individual needs.
Mr de Thierry’s personal vision for the Rotorua outlet is to use the teams’ vast knowledge to offer exceptional service and relative pricing to all customers, catering for large commercial projects as well as small DIY jobs. It is the first Hirepool branch in the area for 25 years.
“One of the major benefits for our customers is the fact that we have superior equipment in premium condition as it’s all brand new,” he says.
Hirepool is a well-established and respected company with 50 years experience in the equipment rental industry. Its expansion into key geographical areas, such as Rotorua, is phase one of a key company strategy.
Hirepool managing director, Tenby Powell, says the forthcoming opening reflects the company’s confidence for future development in the Rotorua region in both the commercial and DIY markets.
“We are currently implementing an expansion plan and have a focussed strategy for 2005. Phase one is our expansion into major geographic. Rotorua plays an important part in our strategy and we are delighted to be joining the buoyant Rotorua community and expanding with it.”
Hirepool’s strategy has seen the recent addition of branches in New Plymouth, Takanini, Hastings, Palmerston North, Hamilton, Christchurch, Blenheim, Timaru, Dunedin as well as a proposed ‘super branch’ in Tauranga.
Hirepool has also recently become the principle sponsor of the New Zealand Contractors Federation (NZCF) and have active involvement in assisting NZCF with a range of initiatives planned to position the Federation for the future, in addition to direct support of the New Zealand Construction Awards.
“Our value proposition – Hire the Experience - accurately summarises the key attributes of our company. We have a long-standing reputation as being New Zealand’s rental equipment solution providers and our Rotorua crew are a fantastic addition to our professional, dynamic and highly experienced team.
“They are a clear demonstration of our Hirepool philosophy, of local people supporting local business, says Powell.”
