New meat and wool directory available on line
Meat & Wool New Zealand has launched a trade directory of meat and wool industry contacts on its website, http://www.meatandwoolnz.com/.
The searchable directory has more than 230 contacts and companies, including meat processors and exporters, and key
contacts in the wool industry, wool brokers, scourers and merchants.
Meat & Wool New Zealand General Manager of Business Services James Smallwood says the directory will be useful for levy
payers, those in the industry, overseas contacts and importers, and the media.
There are several options for searching, including by name, market and type of operation. The directory can be printed
out in full, or users can print out specific sections they have searched.
The directory includes 137 contacts previously printed in The Business of New Zealand Meat, a directory formerly
published by Meat New Zealand, and 95 contacts from the Wool Trade Directory published by the New Zealand Wool Testing
Authority.
"An advantage to going on line is that we can update the contacts regularly. This new directory is the most efficient
and economic way to make the contacts available to all in the industry, including those in overseas markets," he said.
