Commerce Commission launches its new website:
www.comcom.govt.nz
The Commerce Commission has this week relaunched its website at http://www.comcom.govt.nz following an extensive redesign and upgrade of its existing site.
Chair Paula Rebstock said the focus of the redevelopment had been on making the Commission's website more intuitive and accessible for all its users.
"The Commission's responsibilities have grown significantly since our first website went online over five years ago. There has always been a lot of valuable information on the site, but as the volume of information has increased exponentially in recent years, it had become more and more difficult for users to track down what they were looking for."
The new website includes an advanced search function, enabling users to search for key terms and phrases.
"The Commission's website is a key source of information about the Commission's activities, its role and responsibilities. Not only is it a key tool in raising awareness and understanding of the Commission's work, it is an important facet of the open and transparent consultation processes the Commission undertakes in all its adjudication and regulatory work," said Ms Rebstock.
