Kiwi Innovation Liquid Holster on the international stage
Following the successful launch of Liquid Holster in late August this year, the self-levelling drink holder has been
recognised internationally.
Directors of Liquid Holster Craig Gordon and Kent Nixon were inundated with orders for distribution across USA and
Canada after showing the product at the recent Las Vegas baby show.
Dedicated freight orders are landing in the USA and Canada this month, with sales already going well in Australia, which
marks the beginning of export success for Liquid Holster.
"The US is a hard market to crack, but we have already begun supplying a large network of retailers. We've been
overwhelmed with the response to the product, and are now focusing on meeting the demand and growing sales
internationally," says Craig.
In New Zealand alone, sales are steadily escalating. There are now around 1500 retail outlets for the Liquid Holster,
which include all main sporting, baby, bike and golf retailers, as well as the rehabilitation market.
"It's great that so many New Zealand retailers have come on board with the product, especially across so many markets.
We are really excited at what the Christmas and summer season will bring," says Kent.
Liquid Holster was designed after kiwi mum Carissa Gordon came up with a solution after needing somewhere to carry her
water bottle while pushing her baby daughter in her mountain buggy. Carissa's frustrations to find somewhere for the
water bottle got her thinking and she came up with an idea to make life a lot easier - not only for her, but also
cyclists, boaties, golfers and people in wheelchairs.
Since then her innovative idea has been carried forward into the development and production stage and now onto
retailer's shelves, thanks to her husband Craig Gordon and business partner Kent Nixon.
