EMIRATES TO GO DOUBLE DAILY TO BIRMINGHAM
Emirates, the world's fastest-growing inter-continental airline, will launch a second daily service between Dubai and
Birmingham from mid-2005, providing connections in each direction with New Zealand flights.
The award-winning carrier's second daily flight will begin operating on June 1, 2005, and will be served by 285-seat
Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Daily departures from Dubai will then leave at 7.50am (providing a connection from New Zealand) and 3.45pm, arriving in
Birmingham at 11.40am and 8.15pm respectively.
Daily departures from Birmingham will then leave at 9.55pm (providing a connection to New Zealand after arriving at 7.45
the following morning) and 1.20pm, arriving in Dubai at 20 minutes past midnight.

do well, and so it has, in no small way thanks to the strength of our reputation and excellence of our in-flight
service.
"Our expansion continues apace as more and more people want to experience Emirates' award-winning service. Dubai is a
fantastic destination for tourism or commerce located perfectly to break long journeys, with connections to many other
points on the Emirates' network."
The additional flight comes on top of Emirates' four services a day to Heathrow, three to Gatwick, two to Manchester and
once daily to Glasgow, all offering connections with New Zealand.
