Expo Brings Growing Domestic Travel Benefits Among Popular Resources Are Expo and Travellers’ Network
Travel by Kiwis between the Bay of Islands and Bluff is projected to increase 10% by 2010.* With more trips but not more
time, New Zealanders need to make the most of their holidays.
A special event in Auckland next week will give New Zealanders a chance to gather resources, review options and talk to
the experts.
On 19-20 November, the city’s annual Adventure Travel Expo is a fun and educational place to start dreaming of new
destinations –whether close to home or overseas.
“It’s inspiring,” says YHA New Zealand Marketing Manager Daniel Shields. “You might go in thinking ‘wine tours’ and
leave planning windsurfing lessons. It’s a chance to think about those places in New Zealand – and the rest of the world
– that you have always wanted to visit.”
In addition to the expo, another popular means of keeping up with the latest in unique destinations and special offers
is membership in the world’s first and largest independent travellers’ network. Over 25,000 New Zealanders belong to YHA
and receive the latest travel news, tips and exclusive discounts on everything from airfares to magazine subscriptions.
Admission to Auckland’s two-day showcase of New Zealand and international travel experiences is only $5. Or visit
www.yha.co.nz and simply print out the FREE entry voucher.
