Kids Appoints Graphics Developer
Kiwi International Digital Systems (KIDS) has appointed Matt Coubrough as graphics applications developer.
Based at SKY Television offices of KIDS, Coubrough will be responsible for various operations of documentation, IT infrastructure, network monitoring, graphic script writing, systems analysis and client liaison.
Coubrough says his multi-tasked role includes everything from “writing manuals and operating instructions for KIDS clients, to assisting with the design, set up and implementation of the KIDS global TCP/IP based network, to the development of an interface between KIDS patented technology and a 3D television graphics platform with a production server for tape-free environment.”
Prior to joining KIDS, Coubrough worked in London for broadcast companies TC Soho Ltd and Metcom Video Ltd.
In New Zealand he has worked as online editor/ presentation director at TVNZ, Auckland and editor at Catalyst Productions, Wellington.
KIDS is a Kiwi developed, world first software programme that allows TV broadcasters to put their own graphics on clean feeds from satellite pictures of sports and other events.
KIDS also specializes in custom-built software solutions for broadcasters.
