New General Manager For PEC Fuel Pumps
Richard Coxon has been appointed general manager of PEC Fuel Pumps in Marton.
Coxon has spent the past 18 months based in Melbourne, employed as Cardax’s Business Development Manager for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
It’s a return to the Marton PEC plant for Coxon, who was first employed by the company in 1990 as a quality officer in production.
Since then he has worked his way up the ranks, working for PEC and sister company, Cardax.
The Gallagher Group bought out PEC and Cardax in 1999.
“When the opportunity to become general manager arose, it was the chance for me to bring the wide management experience I have gained within this company to the fore.
“My knowledge of PEC and also the Gallagher systems range from manufacturing to development, support and sales through to management.”
Coxon has also been appointed to the PEC Fuel Pumps board of directors.
His predecessor Tony Dobbs is retiring after 27 years with the company. Dobbs will remain on the board and will be employed at times on a consultancy basis.
