Emirates Offers NZ Travellers New 'Good Morning London' Service
New Zealand first and business class passengers flying overnight to London on Emirates after a stopover in Dubai will be offered complimentary shower facilities, changing rooms, continental breakfast and first-class rail travel into the city upon arrival.
The Dubai-based international airline has launched a new service called GOOD MORNING LONDON, available to first and business class travellers who would like to shower, change and refresh before their business day in London or before taking an onward connecting flight.
This complimentary service is available to travellers on both Emirates' overnight services from Dubai - EK011, which arrives at 0720 into London Gatwick, and EK007, which arrives at 0705 into London Heathrow.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, said: "Our customers' comfort is one of our top priorities. Our GOOD MORNING LONDON service further enhances their flying experience with Emirates.
"Passengers who fly overnight to London will be able to use the service to refresh and fully prepare themselves for their business day. This is another example of our commitment to our customers and of Emirates high standards of service."
For passengers arriving at London Gatwick, the GOOD MORNING LONDON service offers shower facilities with changing rooms, continental breakfast, first class one way rail ticket from Gatwick to London Victoria station and English newspapers. Passengers wishing to use the service should proceed to the Emirates desk in the arrivals hall at London Gatwick North Terminal where they will be given an invitation to use the Delta Arrivals lounge which is located at Le Meridien Hotel.
At London Heathrow, facilities available include 14 shower rooms with changing facilities, valet to carry out pressing of suits etc, First class one way rail ticket from London Heathrow to London Paddington station, English newspapers and a continental breakfast. Passengers who wish to take advantage of the service should proceed to the Emirates desk in the arrivals hall at London Heathrow Terminal 3 where they will be given an invitation to the United Airlines "The Arrival Lounge" located on the balcony of the arrival hall of Terminal 3.
As an alternative to the GOOD MORNING LONDON service, passengers can instead use Emirates' complimentary chauffeur drive service, which should be booked at the time of reservation.
Emirates operates the most frequent services from Dubai to the UK with 11 flights per day ? four to London Heathrow, three to London Gatwick, two to Manchester and one each to Birmingham and Glasgow. Ends
Note: All First and Business class passengers holding published or market fare tickets using the overnight flights are eligible for the GOOD MORNING LONDON service. The service is also available to First and Business class passengers with onward connections on other airlines provided they have (or do not need) a UK visa and their documents are in order. This is required because passengers have to clear immigration to access the hotel (LGW passengers) or the arrivals lounge (LHR passengers).
Eligible passengers who terminate their journey or are making a stopover in London can either use the chauffeur drive service or the GOOD MORNING LONDON service but not both.
