Skycity Hamilton Gives Away Biggest Jackpot To Date - Close To $100,000 Cash Prize
SKYCITY Hamilton’s “Cash Express Grand” jackpot paid out close to $100,000 last night (07 October 2004) when it went off
at around 10:50pm.
The winner, from Opotiki, hit the biggest jackpot paid by SKYCITY Hamilton to date after playing on the bank of 28
linked gaming machines for around ten minutes. The Cash Express Grand jackpot has four different jackpot levels starting
from ten thousand dollars.
The win follows other large cash jackpots won earlier this year on the same Cash Express Grand jackpot of $66,000 in
February 2004 and $47,000 in May 2004.
In addition, on the “Win This Car” jackpot at SKYCTIY Hamilton throughout the month of September, five major prize
packages were won including a brand new Mercedes, a car and boat package (the third car and boat package won at the
gaming and entertainment venue to date) and three car prizes with the addition of a top-up travel prize to attend the
Melbourne Cup this year. In 2004, over 124 cars have been given away in total at SKYCITY Hamilton.
The largest casino jackpot ever won in New Zealand, was won at SKYCITY’s “Sky High Slots” gaming machines in May 2000
when an Auckland man won $1.99 million.
