New General Manager for Apple Division
The Apple Computer Division of Renaissance has just welcomed Steve Ford on board as General Manager.
Mr Ford has a wealth of experience in the technology industry having held senior positions with Apple UK, Gen-I New Zealand and, for the last three years, Country Manager for Toshiba New Zealand.
Mr Ford is looking forward to continuing the great growth that Apple has seen in NZ over the last 24 months. He says, "We have some outstanding products that are creating a tremendous buzz in the market and demand for Apple products are at an all time high."
Although looking forward to reaping the benefits of a fantastic product range, Ford also recognises that, there are some challenges ahead. He views growing the Apple corporate and government business as a key area of focus as well as generating a wider acceptance of the Xserve product range which, he says, has some very real cost and performance benefits.
Prior to Ford's appointment Renaissance Managing Director, Paul Johnston, was acting as the Apple Division's General Manager. Mr Johnston says Ford¹s appointment will allow him more time to focus on bringing more new business into Renaissance.
Mr Johnston is delighted to have Steve Ford on board, he says, Steve is highly respected within the IT industry and I a sure he will be a real asset for the entire Renaissance business.
