Reefton Family Win $100,000 With Lotto's Winning Wheel
Lotto Winning Wheel's latest winner, Susan Warne from Reefton, has won $100,000 on this weekend's live Lotto draw,
announced Trevor Hall, Chief Executive of New Zealand Lotteries Commission.
"Shivers, it's great dosh," said Mrs Warne.
"Susan must be extra lucky as she is the second winner from the West Coast in only six weeks," said Mr Hall.
Although Mrs Warne's weekly Lotto numbers didn't come in, the serial number on her ticket for draw 898 made her a
Winning Wheel winner.
Mrs Warne's husband Dave and 12 year old daughter Carly flew to Wellington to be with her for the Winning Wheel
experience and were at Avalon Studio's for the live Lotto draw.
"I've had a great couple of days," said Susan.
Lotto's Winning Wheel is a new feature of the live Lotto draw each Saturday night at 8pm on TV2. A minimum of one Lotto
ticket serial number is drawn from all valid tickets each Lotto draw.
Since 21 August, six Lotto players have become Winning Wheel winners, between them taking home a Volkswagen Golf, four
cash prizes of $100,000 and one of $250,000.
Winners - who come to the Capital with a support person and get to stay at the luxury Duxton Hotel, have exhibition
passes to Te Papa, a shopping trip with a stylist to choose clothes for their TV appearance and a meal with a Lotto
Presenter - have said the trip to Wellington to spin the Winning Wheel has become a once-in-a-lifetime memory.

Hutt.
"Winners get a welcome surprise when they check their ticket's unique serial number as Lotto's Winning Wheel gives
players another chance to win regardless of whether they have won any other prizes on their Lotto ticket," said Mr Hall
